Born and raised in Ajmer, Rajasthan, he completed his schooling at St. Anselm’s School before enrolling in Poornima College for B.Tech. But instead of following a conventional career path, Pranav chose to step into the real world early. His professional career began in 2006 with MakeMyTrip, followed by roles in Carlson Wagonlit, British Airways, and American Express. These years gave him global exposure — and a sharp observation: in the fashion world, quality jewellery was accessible only at steep prices, while affordable pieces often lacked durability and design excellence. Life tested him when a car business venture with a friend ended in betrayal, costing him ₹25 lakh. In 2024, while visiting India during Holi, his father suffered abrain stroke. Choosing to stay close and opt for homeopathic treatment, Pranav decided not to return abroad — instead, he committed to building a life and business in India.
After exploring multiple ideas — from home décor to furniture — his passion led him to imitation jewellery. He traveled across India seeking the perfect balance between quality and price, but found that one always compromised the other. The solution? Directly collaborating with skilled designers to create pieces that were stylish, durable, and affordable. And so, Thakurani Overseas was born — a brand with a clear mission: bring high-quality fashion jewellery to the Indian market at fair prices, without sacrificing craftsmanship. Today, Pranav is leveraging social media to grow his brand’s presence and reach a wider audience, combining his corporate discipline with his creative vision to redefine affordable luxury in jewellery.
